Management Consultant (Infrastructure)
Beam Reach Consulting Group seeks a part-time management consultant with experience in infrastructure and/or security to support client projects related to U.S. energy, transportation, security, or other infrastructure. Candidates will apply expertise in business management, leadership theory and application, project management, change management, and organizational strategy to support clients in government and industry.
Position: Management Consultant (Infrastructure) – Part Time
Location: Washington, DC metro area. Flexible office location opportunity. Reliable internet connectivity required to work remotely and join virtual meetings. Some domestic travel may be needed for short (2-3 day) meetings, subject to availability.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or security. Advanced degree in similar fields is a strong plus.
Experience: 15+ years in management and leadership consulting, or direct practice in industry or government.
Desired skills: Knowledge of strategic planning, project leadership, team leadership, and communications best practices. Knowledge of security policies and best practices. Effective written and oral communication skills are a must. Mastery of current software tools for business is desired (e.g. MS Office Suite, Project, Visio, GSuite).
Estimated hours/week: This is a part-time position estimated at 8-16 hours per week.

Lead initiatives to develop organizational strategies, cultural change, and policy development and adoption.
